Rules

Rules are the last component of the Action chain and they determine the condition under which the Action is performed, a.k.a. when the Modifier state-change is enacted. The Threedium Platform offers numerous rule options that allow quick and easy action binding to specific interactions and circumstances.

Rule Options

Rules can be added by clicking on the “Plus” icon + in the Rules Name bar of the Editor panel. There are numerous ways to specify what sets the Modifier in motion. Threedium Platform offers:

  • Initialization - the Action is performed during initialization process
  • Loaded - the Action is performed upon load
  • Frame Rate - the Action is performed depending on Framerate throttle state
  • Click - the Action is performed upon clicking on the specified entity
  • Hover - the Action is performed upon hovering over the specified entity
  • Animation Set Ended - the Action is performed after the Animation set ends:
  • Animation State Ended - the Action is performed after the Animation state ends
  • Transition Ended - the Action is performed upon ending of the targeted Transition
  • Transition Repeated - the Action is performed after the targeted Transition repeats
